On your mark, get set... GO!!

Wait, I wasn't ready! No matter, winter term has begun. Walking into Byrne dining hall at 12:10 this afternoon was an absolute delight - so many friendly faces, such hubbub, so little time (as I was giving a mock consulting interview to a first year in advance of internship recruiting starting, and only had time to pick up a water and say "Happy New Year!" to about 45 people in 60 seconds).

For those of you who haven't discovered Tuck Today, it's a splendid depiction of the Tuck community. The new edition just came out and there is a must-read piece on ice hockey at Tuck. Admitted students, I would highly recommend visiting and downloading from this collection of Tuck wallpaper - a pleasant pause between closing down Excel and opening PowerPoint. For those of you patiently waiting to hear the outcome of your application, or preparing to press 'submit' on the January round, bookmark it!
Tonight, I'm off to start winter workouts for Tuck's other great sport - rugby. After a December of over-indulgence, it's going to be tough. But the camaraderie makes it fun... I must remember that when I think I'm going to collapse.

Finally, news just in: Polar Vision has successfully reached the South Pole! I wonder if it's warmer there than it is in Hanover tonight (-21C/-5F)?
